Course Equivalencies/Credit Transfers

Once enrolled in the General Business Studies Program or the Management Studies Program, you must complete the general business courses required at a college or university that are equivalent to the CUIC® 100 series of courses (e.g., CUIC 110 Accounting).

Employees with Bachelor degrees in Business Administration or Commerce typically receive credit for all of these courses.

When you successfully complete the general business courses you can then request to transfer the credit(s) to your CUIC® program.

CUIC120 Communications
CUIC130 Management/Business Administration
CUIC140 Marketing
CUIC150 Finance
CUIC160 Organizational Behaviour
CUIC170 Economics
CUIC180 Elective Business Course (e.g. Mutual Funds course, Canadian Securities Course, Business Law, Information Systems, Audit, CUIC185 Credit Union Products and Services, any of the CUIC 200 or 300 series, etc.)
